benchmarking is a process in which indicators are used to compare business performance bettween internal sections of bus or between businesses. types of benchmarking includes;
- performance benchmarking (comparing to other businesses)
changes in staff turnover
staff turnover - loss of employees by business who leave for variety of reasons
- HR managers must identify how often staff leave and why - indicates effectiveness of acquisition, devleopment and maintanence
- external (economic downturn)
