What is Litmus paper?
A
Litmus paper can be used to give us a quick idea of whether a substance is an acid or an alkali. There is red litmus paper and there is blue litmus paper.
Blue to red = solution is acid
Red to blue = an alkali
Red into an acid = stays the same.
