- If exposed to hazardous substance
- Hazardous substances can be very toxic

- Bodily fluids (blood, sick, urine, faeces)
- Spillages of waste and hazardous substances
- Can cause an outbreak in infection

- May get in through bad working practices
- Can cause loss of trust and can have emotional effect
