Incident Management Plan Flashcards
Step 1 of the plan?
Assess the situation (before you get involved!)
What does assessing the situation involve?
- Checking for any dangers in the area
- Finding out what happened
- Finding out how many casualties there are
- Finding out if there are any other people around (witnesses to the event)

When calling emergency services (999 or 112), what do you have to state?
- Where the accident happened (provide a postcode, address or what3words)
- The condition of a casualty/casualties
Step 5 of the plan?
Dealing with the aftermath of an accident
What do you need to do after an accident?
- Restock the FA kit with appropriate equipment
- Clean up the area where the accident took place (if needed)
