Flow Oriented
Devices have a bellows that is raised to a predetermined volume by an inhaled breath
Volume Oriented
Some devices will not turn the light on unless the bellows is held at a minimum desired volume for a specified period of time
Volume Oriented
An achievement light or counter is used to provide feedback
