What does incarnation mean?
The process of God the son being born human in the person of Jesus.
Name and describe three symbols used by Christians
- Ichthus - a fish that was easy to draw and erase. It means Jesus Christ, Son of God
- Alpha and omega - the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. It symbolises God being from beginning to end
- Chi-ro - the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ (P and X). Reminds Christians of the death and resurrection of Jesus
