What are the effects of ES Channel 1 or 2 and actions taken?
Effects: Valves will isolate (BWST recirc, QT sample, RB Sump to AB Sump, RBVH Isol, RCP SBO valves, 3820, SW Crossties, 1214/1216, 1233, 1301. HPI will initiate and HPI blocks open. Lose associated A-1/A-2 bus due to Unit aux feed opening. EDGs will both start.
Actions: Trip RX, secure HPI pump, restore SW/ACW, restore seal injection, restore letdown and normal RCP SBO alignment.
What are the effects of ES Channel 3 or 4 and actions taken?
Effects: Valves isolate (1441, N2 to RB, FW to RB, QT outlet, Purge valves, RB Leak detector. LPI actuates, and EFIC A/B actuates.
Actions: Secure EFW, Secure LPI pump and close BWST outlet, restore systems.
What are the effects of ES Channel 5 or 6 and actions taken?
Effects: Isolate ICW to RB, chill water to RBCC. Pent vent starts, and RB cooling starts.
Actions: Trip RX, Trip RCPs, Perform RT-5, Place ICW valves in man and open, blah blah blah, secure pent vent.
What are the effects of ES Channel 7 or 8 and actions taken?
Effects: RB spray actuation
Actions: Secure RB spray pump and close RB spray block valve.
Which Inadvertent ES channels require Rx trip?
1,2,5,6
1 & 2 because loss of A bus
5 & 6 because RCP loss of ICW
What are the purposes of attachment 11 and 12?
Attachment 11: Restore SW/ACW
Att 12: Restore MU & SI
