Referrals are closed or need authorization, you have questions regarding the diagnosis, a referral needs to be assigned to a PCC, need clarification on what dx providers can see/treat, referrals are pending or was denied
What reason to reach out to financial specialists?
Any type of billing question about procedure, or office visit. (Financial specialists do not take payments.)
What are main reasons you can reach out to referral PCC’s?
Work queue is assigned to them; unable to schedule NP appointment; new patients are OK to be scheduled with General GI provider

If patient has just been in Emergency Department
