Dual gen failure
A
Shows both converter failure lights AND AC Ref Bus INOP
- airspeed adjust to 80kts
- attempt generator reset
- star APU and turn on APU gen
- land as soon as practicable (if APU fails to turn on, land as soon as possible)
AC ref bus degraded bus advisory BY ITSELF - autotransformer failure
Batteries can push up to the DC essential bus only. Generators can push all the way down
Losing JUST the converters only takes away your DC primary bus. Turn off unnecessary DC
Single gen failure - reset, turn off it it fails. No further action unless in icing conditions
Auto mode stab failure - land as soon as practicable
Emergency APU start MUST be done at 80kts… AC power applied or transferred will most likely slew the stabilator down!!!
1 converter failure - no action required
