Q

Active vs passive immunity

A

Active: developed by own body.
Long-lasting. Requires TIME.

Q

Humoral vs cell-mediated immunity

A

H: B-cells w/ antibodies. Antigens float in the blood. Cells divide into plasma or memory cells.

Cell: T-cells with killer/cytotoxic t-cells. Antigens on the surface of infected cells. Part of delayed type IV hypersensitivity.
