First line of defense

A

the first barrier from infections from entering, there is a physical barrier which is the skin and nasal hair etc. There is a chemical barriers which are bascially your siliva and acids on your skin so it doesnt grow bacteria

second line of defense

A

the general responses to the infection, for example your body causes a fever, raises your temperatures to slow down the pathogens in the blood flow from working, and white bloodcells work to engulf the pathogens

A

the adaptive immune response, where the body remembers and target specific pathogens using antibodies. and since they remember them, they can respond to them quicker the next time they invade
