FLIGHT DECK DOOR EMER ENTRY ACTIVE LIGHT / AUTOMATIC UNLOCK
JAMCO Flight Deck Door
1. Flight deck door HARD LOCK switch……..Push
Boeing Flight Deck Door
1. FLT DK DOOR lock selector……….Rotate to DENY and hold for 1 second
Cabin Altitude Warning or Rapid Depressurization/Emergency Descent
- Oxygen masks and regulators…..ON, 100%
- Crew communications……Establish
- Seatbelt sign……On
Engine Limit or Surge or Stall
- Auto throttle (if engaged)……Disengage
- Thrust Lever (affected engine)……Confirm………Retard
Retard until engine indications stay within limits or thrust lever is closed
Engine Start — Aborted Start
- Engine start lever (affected engine)……….CUTOFF
Loss or Thrust in Both Engines
- ENGINE START switches (both)…….FLT
- Engine start levers (both)……..CUTOFF
- When EGT decreases:
Engine start levers (both)…….IDLE detent
APU Fire
- APU fire switch…….Confirm…….Pull, rotate, and hold
Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second - APU switch………OFF
Engine Fire or Engine Severe Damage or Separation
- Autothrottle (if engaged)………Disengage
2. Thrust lever (affected engine)……Confirm………..Close
Engine Overheat
- Autothrottle (if engaged)……….Disengage
2. Thrust lever (affected engine)……..Confirm……..Close
Smoke, Fire, or Fumes
- Oxygen masks and regulators (as needed)……….On, 100%
2. Crew communications (as needed)………….Establish
Runaway Stabilizer
- Control column………Hold firmly
- Autopilot (if engaged)……..Disengage
- Autothrottle (if engaged)……..Disengage
- Control column and thrust levers……..Control airplane pitch attitude and airspeed
- Main electric stabilizer trim………Reduce control column forces
- Choose one:
- The runaway stops after the autopilot is disengaged. Do not re-engage the autopilot or autothrottle.
- END-- The runaway continues after the autopilot is disengaged.
STAB TRIM cutout switches (both)……..CUTOUT
If the runaway continues:
Stabilizer trim wheel………..Grasp and hold
Airspeed Unreliable
- Autopilot (if engaged)………..Disengage
- Autothrottle (if engaged)………..Disengage
- Flight director switches (both)…….OFF
- Set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust:
Flaps extended………10° and 80% N1
Flaps up……….4° and 75% N1
Aborted Engine Start for:
- N1 or N2 doesn’t increase or increases slowly after light off
- There is no oil pressure indication by the time the engine is stable at idle
- The EGT does not increase by 15 sec after the engine start lever is moved to IDLE
- EGT rapidly approaches or exceeds the start limit
