Evacuation

Question 2

CABIN ALTITUDE/Rapid Depressurization

Answer 2

1. Don the oxygen masks
2. Establish communication
3. Check the cabin altitude and rate
4. IF the cabin altitude is uncontrollable
   - SUPRNMRY (PASS) OXY switch - Push to ON, hold for 1 second
   - MAIN DECK SIGNALING switch - push
   - Without delay, descend to the lowest safe altitude or 14,000’, whichever is higher
   - To descend:
   - Thrust levers - idle
   - Speedbrakes - extend
   - If structural integrity is in doubt, limit airspeed and avoid high maneuvering loads
   - Airspeed - descend at Vmo/Mmo

ENG 1, 2, 3, 4 AUTOSTART/Aborted Engine Start

1. FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine) - CUTOFF

Question 4

Engine Surge, Limit, or Stall

Answer 4

1. Thrust lever (affected engine) - confirm - Retard until engine indications stay within limits or the engine is at idle

Question 5

IAS DISAGREE/Airspeed Unreliable

Answer 5

1. Autopilot disengage switch - Push
2. A/T ARM switch - OFF
3. F/D switches - OFF
4. Set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust:
   - Flaps extended - 10’ and 90% N1
   - Flaps up - 4’ and 80%

Question 6

FIRE ENG 1, 2, 3, 4/Engine Severe Damage or Separation

Answer 6

1. Thrust lever (affected engine) - Confirm - Idle
2. FUEL CONTROL switch (affected engine) - Confirm - CUTOFF
3. Engine fire switch - Confirm - Pull
4. IF the FIRE ENG message is shown:
   Engine fire switch - Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second

Question 7

Multiple Engine Flameout or Stall

Answer 7

1. CONT IGNITION switch (PW) - Push
2. FUEL CONTROL switches (affected engines) - Confirm - CUTOFF then RUN
3. IF EGT rises rapidly approaching EGT takeoff limit - repeat the above step (2) as needed

Evacuation

Answer 8

1. Parking brake - Set…..C
2. OUTFLOW VALVES MAN switches (both) - ON…..FO
3. OUTFLOW VALVES MAN switches (both) - Hold in open until indication shows both fully open…..FO
4. FUEL CONTROL switches (all) - CUTOFF…..C
5. Advise the cabin to evacuate…..C
6. Advise ATC…..FO
7. Engine Fire Switches (all) - Pull…..FO
8. APU fire switch - Override and Pull…..FO
9. If and APU or ENG fire is observed or indicated:
   Related fire switch - Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second…..FO
