What should be considered with ultrasound imaging of the gall bladder?

A

The gall bladder will be dilated with anorexia BUT if the common bile duct is dilated it is diagnostic for EBDO or in cats cholangitis 🐈

How is a congenital PSS confirmed?

A

On ultrasound it is seen as a single anomalous vessel (acquired has multiple torturous vessels)

CT is commonly indicated also.
