Anaphylaxis
A severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.
Diabetic emergency
People who have diabetes may experience a diabetic emergency, where their blood sugar becomes too high or too low.
Seizure
A seizure is a sudden and temporary change in the electrical and chemical activity in the brain which leads to a change in a person’s movement
Opioid overdose
Affects the part of the brain that regulates breathing, and so it can lead to slowing or stopping of breathing and sometimes death
Stroke
Damage to the brain from interruption of its blood supply.
Fever and high fever
A fever is when your body temperature is higher than your normal average temp. Most providers say a fever is either 100.0 F (37.8 C) or 100.4 F (38 C).
Epinephrine
Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, is a hormone and medication which is involved in regulating visceral functions.
Naloxone
It can treat narcotic overdose in an emergency situation.
