Ethical absolutism
no matter what country you are in, maintain your own cultural values
Ethical universalism
there are fundamental principles of right and wrong which transcend cultural boundaries and MNEs need to follow these principles and global values
Bribery
involves the payment of agents to do things that are inconsistent with the purpose of their position or gain an unfair advantage
Non-government organizations
- environmental factor of PESTEL
- organizations have become internationalized by interacting with MNEs in several global industries
- Ex: Greenpeace International presents issues in various industries and which NGOs they seek to influence
