A
Atheroma in the coronary artery, it constricts blood flow (so less blood and less oxy gets to heart)

What is angina pectoris
A
Less oxy perfusion of heart muscles

3 symptoms of Angina
A
- Breathlessness
- Strangling in the chest
- Pain in jaw and left arm

Why are pt at risk of angina and Mi likely to bleed more?
A
They will be likely taking aspirin which thins blood

3 symptoms of MI
A
- Crushing chest pain for >15 mins
- Pain in neck, jaw and left arm
- Nause, vomiting and restlessness

3 Signs of MI
A
Grey tinge, Sweat, Tachycardia

How do we treat MI
A
O2, GTN and aspirin
