What are the two most important things to remember when performing the infinity focus check?
- Do not focus the eye on the center roster lines, but rather on an object at least 200 feet away.
- Focus the center roster lines to what your relaxed eye perceives as focused.
Why is it important to perform the infinity focus check correctly?
Improper focus may lead to eye strain, headache, and/or reduced performance
What is the aircraft Armament Datum Line (ADL)?
The Armament Datum Line is the imaginary 0’ axis as with 0’ elevation line that runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft
