What does URL stand for and what does it been
URL stands for uniform resource locator known as the web address. It is one way of accessing a website is to type the URL into the address bar on a web browser.
What is a hyperlink and what are they used for
A hyperlink is when they are clicked on,they take the user to another place on the same web page. These are used for online shopping,gaming e.c.t
Why is it important to consider the (file) size of features used on websites?
It is important to consider the (file) size of features used on websites because, the website will load up slowly and users will get bored of waiting
What does homepage mean?
It’s the main page of a website.
What does golden triangle mean?
When users search for information using a search engine,their eyes are drawn to a triangular area of the top left corner of the screen termed the golden triangular
What does hyperlink mean
Hyperlinks allow the user to move from one part of the a web page to another by clicking.
There are 2 type of hyperlinks and what do they mean.
One is called hypertext link this is when you can click on to it ,which allows you to active the link.
The second one is called graphical links (hotspot) this is an image that can be clicked on.
What does it mean by master page.
Master page are a quicker way of creating web pages,the framework and navigation has already been created and the user only needs to add the content

It’s a computer which is permanently connected to the internet and stores the website, so it can be accessed using a web browser.

They need to be uploaded on the host computer,it was made on to the web host over the internet. This means when you do a website you have to post it to let users use it

a batch total is similar to a hash total, but the total has meaning.

Data can be copied quickly – makes it easier to steal
Staff need to be trained to used ICT systems.
Security – data needs to be protected from hackers and viruses.
Describe what is meant by a hyperlink
A hyperlink is an image,button or piece of text which can be clicked on to open a new slide of file.
Hotspots are a type of hyperlink. What is a hotspot?
A hotspot is an image which acts as a hyperlink – (also called a graphical hyperlink)
What is a slide transition?
Is when you change the way the next slide appears.
What is an animation?
Animation means getting some of the content in a presentation to move.
What is a template?
Presentation software, such as PowerPoint, comes with preset design templates. Using these can save time allowing the user to concentrate fully on the content of the presentation.

Narration
Speech can be recorded on each slide in a presentation using a microphone. This is called a narration.

Speaker Notes
Speaker notes are notes which can be printed out with the slides to prompt the speaker. They can either be kept for the speaker only, or printed out for the audience.
Give 2 advantages of using presentation software.
