When do icing conditions exist?
When SAT is below +10°C and visible moisture in any form is present.
When is wing anti-ice required?
When icing conditions are imminent or immediately upon detection of ice formation.
When is cowl anti-ice required on the ground?
When SAT is below +10°C in visible moisture, or on wet runways.
What should you do with the engines when it is below 1°C on ground before take off?
Run LP at 85% for 1 min. prior to TO and at intervals of not more than 60 minutes.
Cowl anti-ice required use?
Use as indicated on the temp. range for the cowl anti-icing chart when icing is observed.
Two reasons you can’t stay in icing conditions with cowl anti-ice problems: 
Do not remain in with:
- COWL PRESSURE LOW message. Or…
- if 4PSI cannot be maintained
