2 letter codes that refer to the direction of travel.
GI
Global Indicator
AT global indicator
Via the Atlantic
Used when a journey has been made from IATA areas 1 and/or 2 and came via the Atlantic Ocean.
PA global indicator
Via the Pacific
Used when a journey has been made from IATA areas 1 and/or 3 and came via the Pacific Ocean.
AP global indicator
Via the Atlantic and Pacific
Used when a journey has been made from IATA areas 2 and/or 3 and came via the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
EH global indicator
Within the Eastern Hemisphere
Used when a journey has been made from IATA areas 2 and/or 3 or between 2 and 3.
WH global indicator
Within the Western Hemisphere
Used when a journey has been made from IATA area 1 and stayed in area 1.
TS global indicator
Trans-Siberian Route
Covers journeys made from Europe to the Far East via Moscow.
PO global indicator
Covers any journey made from Europe to the Far East via Alaska.
