Q

Loss of All AC Power?

Extra credit: what happens electrically when this handle is pulled?

A

1) ADG manual deploy handle - PULL

The battery bus is directly tied into the DC ESS bus when WOW. This allows the ESS bus to remain powered when the ADG spools down on landing.

This allows the following to remain powered:

Thrust reversers (both) • Right oil pressure indicator • Fuel system control • Fuel gravity crossflow • Pressurization controllers (1 and 2) and control panel • 10TH stage isolation valve • Cargo bay air-conditioning shut-off valves • Pilot’s PFD, MFD, EFIS control • Avionic cooling controller (1) • AHRS FAN 1 • NAV 1, ADF 1, and ATC 1 • Radio tuning unit 1 • EFIS, dimming panel 1 • Bleed air leak test • Spoiler electronic control system 1 and 2 (PWR 3) • Stall protection, right channel • Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Control Unit (HSTCU) channel 2 • Left standby wing anti-icing • Left window heater controller • Left static and ADS controller heaters • Cockpit voice recorder • Instruments flood lights • Emergency lights
