A

CA: In the event of an abnormality prior to V1
I will call “CONTINUE” or “REJECT”.
If the decision is to reject, I will:
Select thrust levers to idle
Observe or apply maximum braking
Select maximum reverse thrust, cwc

FO: I will monitor your actions and call: * “REVERSE GREEN” or
“NO REVERSE LEFT (OR RIGHT)” * “80” and advise ATC//

CA: I will maintain max braking and
maximum reverse until stopped if required.
* Set PARK BRAKE if required
* Call for the appropriate procedure

FO: I will accomplish the procedure

CA: If an immediate evacuation is not required I will PA, “REMAIN SEATED,
REMAIN SEATED”, and if required,
“IN-CHARGE FLIGHT ATTENDANT
CALL (OR REPORT TO) THE FLIGHT
DECK”. If an evacuation is required I
will call, “ECL, PASSENGER
EVACUATION”.

Fire or failure after V1

A

PF: In the event of an Engine Fire or Failure
after V1, I will continue the take-off
rotate normally at VR.

PM: I will call “ENGINE FIRE” or “POWER LOSS”,
cancel any warnings. Established in a definite climb I will call “POSITIVE RATE”.

PF: I will call “GEAR UP”

PM: I will select the Gear Up.

PF: Stabilized in a climb above 400, minimum of V2,
verify or call for the appropriate lateral mode, AP ON.

PM: I will verify or select appropriate lateral mode.

PF: For engine fire, when flight path stabilized, I will call “ECL, L/R ENGINE FIRE”

PM: I will start L/R Engine Fire procedure

PF: At engine out acceleration alt, select Speed MAN, VFE2, ALT, call for flap retraction on schedule. When flaps 0: FLC
Speed Green Dot.

PM: I will complete the requested actions.

PF: I will call for (or continue with) the appropriate procedure or checklist(s).

A

the TOGA button, call: “GO-AROUND, FLAP”.

PM: I will select Flap 2(4)

PF: I will call “GEAR UP, SET SPEED VGA”.

PM: I will select Gear UP, verify or select Speed MAN, speed to VGA.

PF: At cleared/published missed app altitude, I will set VFE and call for Flap retraction on schedule.

A

PF: Call “FIREWALL”.
• Disengage AP, AT.
• Adjust thrust to MAX
• Immediately initiate pull up, roll wings level
• Retract spoilers
• Climb: best climb angle (aft soft stop), respect stick shaker
• Maintain config ‘til ground contact not a factor

PM: Verify all actions completed, call out omissions
• Monitor vertical speed and altitude
• Call any trend toward terrain contact

>When terrain no longer factor<
PM: Call “CLEAR OF WARNING“

PF: slowly decrease pitch and accelerate.
Call for config changes and re-automate

Windshear

A

PF: TOGA
• Verify or advance Thrust Levers to MAX
• Follow FD guidance
• Ensure spoilers retracted
• Maintain config until clear of warning
• Follow escape guidance until windshear no longer indicated

below 400’, TOGA will not cancel Derate
and/or Flex (thrust HOLD until the aircraft
climbs above 400’ AGL). Manually advance to MAX .

PM: Verify max thrust is set
• Confirm spoilers retracted
• Monitor flight path, airspeed, vertical
speed, and altitude. Call out
significant variations.

>When Clear of Warning<
PM: Call “CLEAR OF WARNING”

PF: Call for config changes, re-engage automation

PM: Configure as requested by PF
