What are some potential causes of androgen deficiency?
A
genetic disorders eg Kleinfelter syndrome, disorder of the testis (primary damage or hypergonadotropic hypogonadism), disorders of the pituitary and hypothalamus, androgen receptor defects causing androgen insensitivity

What are clinical features of androgen deficiency
A
increased fatigue and weakness, sexual dysfunction, mental problems (low mood, irritability, depression), obesity and osteoporosis

How is androgen deficiency diagnosed?
A
at least 2 tests of serum testosterone and luteinising hormone or different days
