T4 and fT4. T4 is high in 90% of the cats has long as there is not NTI

A

the T4 could be falsely elevated from the NTI. treat the other disease then recheck the T4

A

treat thyroid first then recheck BP. BUT if there is TOD and CS from hypertension-eyes, liver, arrhythmias, then treat both at the same time.

A

can kill too much tissue and cause hypothyroidism. that may need to be treated. if the client wants this so they dont have to pill their cat. warn them
