Pathophysiology
A
Benign functional tumor of the pituitary gland that releases excess growth hormone.
GH is a natural insulin antagonist.

PU/PD, polyphagia, wt loss, diabetic neuropathy
Can also have abnormal growth in an adult (wt gain, organomegaly, increased skull size)
