Diet control
Bile acid sequestrants. sequester bile acids to lumen and cause excretion, inhibit resorption
Statins - inhibit HMG-coA reductase and increase LDL-R synthesis
Niacin - inhibits adipose lipolysis and FA/cholesterol secretion
Fibrates - increase HDL secretion, decreas TAG, LDL secretion by activating PPAR-alpha receptor.
