Many lost faith in the Weimar government and we are convinced that it was unable to deal with serious economic problems

Mary who had borrowed money from the banks were able to wipe out their debt

Those with pensions found that they became worthless

They benefited from the rise in prices of food at the time when the farming industry was not doing well
