What is the mechanism of action of hydroxychloroquinine?

A

Inhibits function of toll-like receptors that contribute to
autoimmune disease, limiting B cell and dendritic cell
activation.
May inhibit interleukin-1 release by monocytes decreasing macrophage chemotaxis and phagocytosis.
