Swelling of renal pelvis and calyces due to back pressure caused by obstruction of urinary tract

A
Vague renal angle pain
Mass in kidney area

A
USS
CT KUB
IV urogram i.e. xray with IV contrast

What are the treatment options?
A
Relieving build up of pressure via:
Percutaneous nephrostomy
Antegrade ureteric stent:
-stent inserted through kidney into ureter
