How do pursuers catch their prey?
Chase, catch, and subdue their mobile prey.
How do searchers catch their prey?
actively forage, seek out prey that are less mobile than themselves
How do ambushers catch their prey?
sit and wait for prey, often relatively sedentary organisms

Squid

What features of the chaetognath allow it to be an effective ambush hunter?
It is almost invisible, fast-moving, has large chitinous spines used to seize prey, 2 rows of small teeth, uses spines to locate prey, immobilizes prey using deadly tetrodoxins.
