What is the importance of the Hungarian revolution
A
This showed krushchev was not scared and was ruthless and he didn’t care about opening criticising starlin and sending in tanks to other places this sent in a clear message

Why did this advent make the US look bad
A
The US opening supported the protest but didn’t take any actions this was publicised badly on the US as it made them look like they gave a false sense of security and hope for Hungary

Did this give the USSR the upper hand
A
Yes because it showed the US wasn’t trust worthy and that they were very hesitant in sending in help during the Cold war this gave the USSR the upper hand and made them seem more powerful than the US .
