A

Humanism is different from the beliefs of the middle ages because they were interested in ideas besides religion. They wanted to learn to lead successful lives. They were interested in the positive qualities that make us human.

A

The Medici family was the start of the Italian Renaissance because they were patrons of the best painters. Lots of very detailed paintings were made because of this.

The Italian Renaissance used fading points and perspective to make paintings look 3D. Most of them were Christian based, but others were based on Roman or Greek beliefs. The paintings focused more on symmetry and anatomy.
