Advantages- a business can gain ideas from 2 people

Disadvantages- opportunity for disagreement and on flic between the 2 employees sharing the job
Costly as you will have to train another employee
What is multi-skilling
Advantages
Involves a sines training their workforce to beg able to work effectively across a wide range of tasks
Advantages- more motivation and employees wont be getting bored
Whats a zero-hour contract
Employee has to be available for work but isn’t always guaranteed work
Advantages and disadvantages of zero-hour contract
Advantages- provides flexibility as employee doesn’t have to be in work everyday
Disadvantages- no guarantee of working hours, therefore wages will vary each month
What is hot-desking
Employee doesn’t have a fixed workspace within the office

Advantages- cuts down on office space
Disadvantages- breakdown of workplace relationships as people can feel disconnected from the organisation

The stress to travel to work will be reduced
Employers- can reduce costs due to less equipment needed
Staff might be more motivated hike working from home

Employers- may e harder to control the workforce

Job rotation = employees work for a short period of time in different departments
Coaching = senior employee watches the new employee, and offer advise
Mentoring = the new employee works on their own but is paired with a senior employee in case they need any assistance
