What are the male sex cells called?
Sperm.
Where is sperm made after pubity?
The testis.
What are the main parts of the male reproductive system?
Scrotum, Testis, Penis, Erectile Tissue, Urethra, Sperm Duct, Glands, Tube from bladder.
What is the female sex cell?
The egg.
If the egg isn’t fertilised and it dies after a day where does it go?
It passes out through the Vagina.
What are the main parts of the female reproductive system?
Vagina, Cervix, Ovary, Womb (Uterus) and the fallopian tube (oviduct).
How long does the menstrual cycle take?
28 Days.
What are the four main stages of the menstrual cycle
Stage 1 - Lining of Uterus breaks down,
Stage 2 - Lining of the Uterus build up,
Stage 3 - Egg released,
Stage 4 - Lining of Uterus maintained.
What are the affects of the stages of the Menstrual cycle?
Stage 1 - The bleeding starts (having a period),
Stage 2 - It thickens into a spongy layer full of blood
vessels ready for implantation,
Stage 3 - This is the most likely time in which a female
becomes pregnant,
Stage 4 - The wall remains thick waiting for the arrival of a fertilised egg.
