Organize and execute actions responses to environment (ext behavior)

Cranial nerves and spinal nerves and their gangli (nerve cells that do a certain function outside of cns)
What does pns do
Connects cns structures with peripheral structures of the body- muscles, organs, glands
Anddd conveys info to and from, between peripheral structures and cns
What’s a nerve
Bundle of many axons, from many neurons (cell bodies)

Innervate muscles.Conduct electrochemical impulses (messages) from to muscle fibers and from muscles back to the brain
