what is semantic information
Information about meaning (a code, symbol, word etc).
what is episodic information
Information about specific episodes or events
Outline automatic actions
Once learned, skills become an automatic action and pass into the motor skills memory.
Outline the brain being capable of doing one things at a time
Can only give conciouis attention to one thing (cant change altimeter and radion at same time). Can perform multiple automated actions, but they are subject to error and require periodic monitoring
Motor skill based behaviour
A behavior can be based on motor skills already learned eg applying foward trim when lowering flaps
Rule based behaviour
A behaviour can be rule based, e.g. aircraft is flown in accordance with laid down rules such as not turning after take off untill 500ft agl.
Decision based behaviour
A behaviour can be decision based, e.g. distinctive pan of action initiated after evaluation of all relevant information.

A slip is an incorrectly carried out action
Error is the wrong action for given circumstances
