What are dashed lines on the pitch scale?
Negative pitch.
What is the primary reference on the HUD?
The flight path vector FPV
What is the maximum bank shown on the HUD?
Normally 30 but if bank exceeds 35 then a 45 deg mark is added then a 60 deg mark.
How does the FPV show you it is not accurate?
Parks to the side and is made of dashed lines.
If the guidance cue is a solid colour, what does this indicate?
Wind shear alert.
Angle of attack limit symbol show when?
5 degrees or less from stick shake

Ground speed is shown when airspeed is less than _____mach?

TOGA bar is shown when?
TOGA is engaged and GS more than 65kts or the current pitch command is more than 10 deg.
FPV acceleration deceleration symbol is what?
An arrow to the left of the FPV. Above if accelerating, below if decelerating.
The FPV speed error tape can show a maximum of how many knots?
15 Kts
What is the glide slope reference line!
Comes on during approach and shows glide path angle. Centre the circular part of the FPV on the line to descend on the correct angle.
What are the tick marks on the runway edge lines?
They show the touchdown point.
The ‘runway’ is shown as 8000 x200 feet
What does the chevron show?
Where to put the pitch, ie pointing down, pitch down because pitch is excessive.
If a colour changes on a PFD display item, how is that shown on the corresponding item on the HUD?
It flashes to alert you.
