Flight schedule procedures
SDO is in charge of the flight schedule. If change needs to be made it must be annotated on the master flight file and approved by CO. If CO isn’t available approval is in order: XO, OPS, SDO. Ensure the changes meet the requirements set in CNAF.
On DET, changes have to be approved by the OIC and ships CO.
Weather criteria
In addition to WX requirements in CNAF, NATOPS, local course rules, and OPNAVINST 3130.6E, these minimums apply:

NOTE: if positive radar control and CCA or PAR is available for recovery, min launch WX mins are 200/0.5

Crew requirements

COs may elect to recognize the qualifications of specific H-60 series aircraft qualified aircrew from outside their command and may also recognize the qualifications of any H-60 series aircraft qualified enlisted aircrewman. Qualification documentation shall be provided upon request. All visiting aircrew shall comply with reporting custodians SOP.
Enlisted aircrewman should be utilized to the max extent practicable on all events.
Aircrewman shall be embarked for all scheduled IMC and night flights. This requirement is not intended to preclude pilots from accepting an IFR clearance when they encounter poor weather conditions or from accepting a practice approach in VMC during the course of a flight.
FCF checklist items shall only be conducted if the crew consists of a designated FCP. COs shall designate minimum crew requirements for maintenance ground turns. TFO personnel shall not be carried on FCFs for the sole purpose of accumulating flight time.
The minimum FCF Flight crew shall be a FCP, a PQM, and one aircrewman or TFO crew member. When required for in flight IMDS, ATABS, or VATS training and addition aircrewman or TFO crew member may be allowed with CO approval.
Minimum crew requirements for tactical training flights unless otherwise specified are: HAC/LVL 3, PQM, and aircrewman.
The minimum crew for engaged turns shall be an H2P and a qualified observer. Both the H2P and qualified observer shall have operable ICS. The H2P should occupy the right seat, and the qualified observer should read the checklist and guard the collective from the right seat.
A TACFORM flight is one in which aircraft launch to practice TACFORM maneuvers per SEAWOLF manual. 2 aircrewman per aircraft shall be scheduled for all NVD TACFORM events.
