Turning Rotors By Hand
A
- Loud Verbal Warning
- Must be acknowledged, then may be turned

Stab Positioning
A
- Should be positioned only by gen, APU gen, or external power
- IE not battery alone (misaligns actuators, possible damage to amplifier)

Moving/Towing Aircraft
A
- Verbal brief using HSC-22 aircraft move brief sheet shall be conducted
- All personnel in move shall have whistle in mouth
- No one shall ride in cabin. Doors must be closed
- Outside of flight line = must have police escort

A
- Intake, pitot tube, and Armed Helicopter covers shall be taken on flights >50 NM

Inspecting Dynamic Aircraft
A
- Should not go AFT of Engine Exhaust ports
- If required:
- Troubleshoot to max extent interally first
- If inspection required:
- Parking Brake Set
- Aircraft Double chocked
- ICS long chord or second aircrewman up ICS
- Transit port side
- Shall not go aft of tail wheel

Taxiing Aircraft
A
- Shall provide adequeate standoff to an aircraft engaging/disengaging it’s rotorhead
- Shall not taxi past another PC without first receiving permission

Simulated Emergencies
A
- In accordance with Wing SOP. Practice EP’s shall be thoroughly briefed
- Single Engine Practice
- approved runway/pad
- Move one PCL, from fly towards idle, above detent
- Single engine capability exists- Single Engine Failure during HOGE - Move one PCL, from fly towards idle, above the detent - Non-flying pilot hand stays on PCL - HAC shall consider winds, vis, and weight - APU SHALL be ON

- Preflight ETF< = 0.92 and fails HIT = RTB immediately

Transmission Filter Bypass
A
- If not secondaries, may continue if close to landing environment
- SHALL not hot-seat until maintenance preformed
- HAC report to SDO

Practice Autos
A
- Both Rad Alts operable
- Practice Flare (125-200’) 80-100 KIAS
- Air Taxi (20-30’) 15-20 KIAS
- Verify crew ready/copilot backup on Nr, altitude, airspeed, and ball

- Remain within visual distance (<5nm)
- Notify tower
- Enter no lower then 1000’, recover mo lower then 500’ and 40 KIAS
