• cirrhosis w/ ascites
• SCr >/= 0.3 in 48 hrs or >/= 50% inc in baseline in last 7 days
• No improvements in SCr after 2 days of diuretic, d/c + IV albumin 1g/kg/day

Therapies are bridge to renal transplant

• IV norepine + IV albumin 1g/kg.day
• response: SCr dec to < 1.5 or return within 0.3 of baseline over max of 2 weeks
• If after 4 days the SCr remain same or rises therapy d/c
