Where would you like to be flying in 5 years?

Answer 1

Flying for a major is the initial goal. But I’ve always been open to different opportunities as they present themselves. Training interests me as well.

Why did you choose Skywest?

1. Reputation- most pilot friends fly for Skywest currently and they’ve mentioned how well prepared they felt regarding training, how professional the training program is run
2. Quality of life/domiciles- getting to SD is important for me. Having my daughter and living in base seems to allow for the best quality of life.
3. Safety- from Skywest pilots I know and they’re personal accounts of how serious debriefings are run and how well maintained the aircraft are, makes me believe safety is a top priority at Skywest and very valuable.

What is your attitude toward Part 121 training environment?

Answer 3

It should be challenging and rigorous because it requires the highest skill level.

When you actually get to the goal of operating as an FO, you’re responsible for so many lives. It required the greatest level of skill and knowledge in order to safely fly passengers.
