A

Payed massive war debts to allies.
Had lost land which meant losing many profitable industries e.g coal mining
Unemployment
USA stopped loaning money /trading with Germany
which resulted in economic depression-these conditions gave a chance to an extreme government to take advantage the Nazis.

Shameful and angered many Germans and felt resentment towards Allied countries .
Motivated extreme groups Nazis
Thought they had been treated unfairly -entitled to more ‘living space’ which led Hitler to invade countries such as Poland and Russia.
