  • 1st sentence: identify the perspective of the author of Source 3A - Do they convey a positive/negative/celebratory/critical perspective on the issue?
  • 1 - 2 sentences in which you outline the evidence that ‘proves’ that is the perspective of the author
  • 1 - 2 sentences in which you outline ‘why’ the author has that perspective

  • 1 Sentences - Thesis on usefulness: Signpost your overall statement on the usefulness of the source by noting whether it is limited or moderately useful or extremely useful.
  • 1-2 Sentences - Strengths: Assess the strengths of the source in terms of its usefulness.
