A

Digestive

18
Q

Which system helps to remove waste?

A

Excretory

19
Q

Which system supports the body, protects it, and works with muscles to allow movement?

A

Skeletal

20
Q

Which body system controls many body processes with chemicals/hormones such as the intake of sugar by cells?

A

Encrodine

21
Q

List the names of each system

A

Digestive, respiratory, immune, endocrine, muscular, circulatory, skeletal, nervous, integumentary, reproductive, excretory

22
Q

Describe how two systems of the body work together to bring oxygen to the cells.

A

Respiratory brings the oxygen in your body through your lungs when you breathe- which gets passed to our heart. The circulatory system helps to circulate or pass around oxygenated blood throughout your body.

23
Q

Describe how two systems of the body work together to eliminate waste (excess salts, & water) from the body.

A

The blood vessels of the circulatory system pass through the kidneys. The kidneys are part of the excretory systems whose function is to clean the blood of excess salts, minerals, and water. It passes out of the body in the form of urine.

24
Q

Describe how two systems of the body work together to bring nutrients(food) to the cells.

A

Digestive and circulatory:
Food and water are absorbed by the intestines through the villi and passed to the blood through the capillaries and then circulated throughout the body by the circulatory system.

25
Q

Describe how two systems of the body respond to stimuli (anything that your 5 senses can detect).

A

Nervous & endocrine system- The nervous system relays information back to the brain to help the body maintain stable internal conditions.

The brain regulates hormones, through the endocrine system that tells the cells of the body to reproduce by making a copy of the cell.
