  • 7 seniors office of Malay regiment refused to pledge loyalty to and fight back Japanese were executed.
  • Others responded to ill-treatment of local taking up arming and Joining resistance forces
    -Malayan People’s anti-Japanese Army(MPAJA)
    -force 156
    -Both worked to drive Japanese out of SG and worked with British to do so.(Lim Bo Seng and Elizabeth choy)
