The EXECUTIVE. The PM is, by CONVENTION, the leader of the largest political party at the election.

Legislate: It introduces, debates and scrutinises new laws
Represents: One MP represents each of the 650 constituencies. The electorate brings forward issues for MP’s to raise.
Scrutinises: Holds government to account.
