Residential care facilities
Residential care facilities provide around-the-clock social and personal care to the elderly, children, and others who cannot take care of themselves. Examples of residential care facilities are drug rehabilitation centers, group homes, and assisted-living facilities

AHA
(American hospital association)
member-ship organization, provides education and lobbies for hospital representation in the political process at all governmental level

Generic drugs
A generic drug, which does not have name recognition, is a less costly alternative to a brand name drug.
The generic drug manufacturer must provide the same active ingredients as the brand name drugs; however, the manufacturing process isless costly to makers of generic drugs because theydo not have to file for a patent.
Gross domestic product (GDP)
measures the monetary value of final goods and services—that is, those that are bought by the final user—produced in a country in a given period of time
measurement that seeks to capture a country’s economic output

Hospitals
provide total medical care, ranging from diagnostics to surgery and continuous nursing (traditionally inpatient but some are outpatient). Some have specializations such as cancer, children’s care, or mental health.

They provide a variety of services that are both medical and personal care for people who are unable to live independently
