  • Urinary retention, stool retention
  • Acute fever (sudden, unexpected), no sweat
  • First remedy given at the start of any cold or flu. Starts with a sore throat
  • < exposure to cold air, bathing in cold water.
  • Dry croupy cough
  • For babies right after birth to avoid jaundice and get organs out of shock and working properly
  • Crush 3 200C pills and mix with 5 ml water and drop slowly into baby’s mouth
  • Alternatively, apply to the baby’s navel; three aconite 200C tablets crushed into calendula cream / ointment

External use:
Dilute 200C in water (10 drops / 3–5 pills), soak cloth in it and apply externally and place it on area of trauma.
* Foot soak for blisters as a result of walking too long in tight / new shoes
* In water for cleaning bed/pressure sores for bedridden patients (post-surgery, elderly, terminally ill)

! Note: Do not apply arnica to an open wound (consider calendula instead).

  • Haemorrhoids (internal and external).
  • For external haemorrhoids additionally use the remedy topically.
  • Combine 3 pills of hamamelis 30C, together with 3 pills of Calc. fluor. tissue salt, crush and mix into a paste with coconut oil.
  • Apply paste to the haemorrhoids 3 x daily. The sooner started, the more likely it is that the paste can clear the haemorrhoid.
  • Can also be used topically for varicose veins.

* Chronic situation lower potency - longer timescale

  • Shooting pains along a nerve e.g., sciatica. Pains appear suddenly and disappear gradually.

  • Pus or infection along an incision line / stab wound - Staph. 200C, one dose
  • Cystitis - after sexual intercourse, after catheterisation
  • Number one remedy for injury of genital organs
  • Man: Scrotum injury (surgery, injury, football)
  • Women: Sexual injury including depression after abuse

  • Fracture once the bone has been set
  • First give Arnica 200C 1 dose every hour for 3 hours. Once the bone is set correctly, start with Symphytum 6C three times daily or 12C twice daily for 2–3 weeks
  • Pricking pain at the fracture site
  • Bone pain and weakness in osteoporosis
  • Blunt trauma to the eyeball and orbit
  • Irritation of the stump after amputation
  • Phantom limb pain after amputation
