Aconite - acute uses
A
- For any sudden acute condition with any element of fright: shock, exposure, sudden onset of intense illness (Bell), inflammation; trauma (Arn.), anxiety, fear of death, panic attacks.
- Early stage of pneumonia, croup, measles, flu, MI, UTI with urine retension, hepatitis, conjunctivits, acute arthritis.
- poking injury of the eye (arn. of the eye)

- Generally strong and healthy types.
- Tendency to low self-esteem and therefore feel need to prove themselves.
- Can be insensitive and mean.
- Desires company when well.
- Constitutional Aconites do not deal well with shock and fright, which can send them into an acute panic state or sudden illness with fear of imminent death

- Thirsty for cold drinks

- Important remedy for nervous system disorders with jerking, twitching, trembling, and itchiness
- For frostbite, sciatica, degenerative neurological disorders from MS to Bell’s palsy, epilepsy, back pain with muscle tension, and delirium tremens.

A
- For accident-prone, fearless types
- Children with behavior disorders and accompanying tics often benefit from constitutional agaricus
- Neurological symptoms are almost always present.
- Mental state can be anxious, excited, fearful. May have bizarre delusions or hyperacute senses.
- Excitement is often exaggerated at night (Med), which old homeopaths referred to as “poetical at night”.
- Physical symptoms such as low back pain, sciatica, or allergies may alternate with mental symptoms.

- For common cold, hoarseness, allergy with nose running “like a faucet” and causing perinasal irritation
- For coryza with headache < closing eyes, warmth and > open air.
- Toothaches, headaches and earaches with shooting neuralgic pain (Hyper) may be aided by Allium
